A new way to build for a large nonprofit

This home was built within the typical practice for Habitat for Humanity with some modifications to make the home more sustainable. A second and perhaps more important goal was to educate both Habitat for Humanity and the community of Jackson regarding issues of sustainability. The project was sponsored by the Mississippi 2020 Network, a nonprofit environmental education organization and became the first of its kind in the state of Mississippi.
