Adaptive reuse feasibility study

This project for an attorney in Jackson outlined the possibility of adaptive reuse of six nearly identical commercial bays built in the 1920’s along Roach Street in Jackson, Mississippi. The renovation would include law offices and a downtown luxury apartment. The existing buildings were well suited for such a reuse due to the intact historical character, location, and structural layout which lends itself to modifications. The program called for 3,100 square feet of office space, a full sized courtroom, space for entertaining clients, adjacent living quarters including three bedrooms, and an open-air courtyard.

Services: programming, design

Size: 6,480 square feet
